The Meridian Centre is Niagara’s newest home for entertainment. Opened in October 2014 the Centre will be home to the Niagara IceDogs. The Meridian Centre was built to replace the Jack Gatecliff Arena which was built in 1938. The centre has a seating capacity of 5300 for hockey and 6500 for concerts.
